If you- like me, love forgotten pieces …this is for you… if you are looking for perfect- this is NOT for you…. Aged ! antique or vintage ornate silver and gold tone hot water- tea urn with burner- engraved details - Victorian style - aged This is a beautiful New Orleans Estate sale find…I got many silver plated items dating back to 1880 from this sale - however I am not certain about the age of this piece or if it is silver plated. It is a silver tone with gold tones coming through and I am not certain if this is a loss of plating…. It is unmarked and in clearly pre loved vintage condition with heavy almost black patina, blemishes and General surface wear. The lid has some bending on one side - pictured but can be turned to the back. Burner is included. The inside is tarnished and has calcium built up and I am selling this as decor piece only - not for food use. Regardless or because- if you, like me - love pieces clearly showing their age and history… it’s fantastic.. Uncleaned unpolished and I don’t know if it will polish up. Please let me know if you like to see more photos- since I can only attach 10. I am not certain about the exact age and if it holds water. Sold as decor piece.
