Vintage Victor #9 skillet, made by Griswold in Erie, PA, between 1920-1935. This is the fully marked version, the most desirable version of the Victor line. The #9 is the largest size in the Victor line. The bottom of the skillet reads Victor/Cast Iron Skillet/ The Griswold MFG. CO.,/ 723 B/ 9/ Erie PA USA. The top is marked with a 9 on the handle in the unmistakable Griswold font. Victor skillets are shallower and lighter than even a traditional Griswold of the time, making them easy to use. It is beautifully smooth like Griswold is known for. Measures 16 in overall length including handle, 11 across, and is 2 deep.Vintage estate find, please see photos. This skillet is in good, usable condition with no cracks or chips. Has a one card wobble. As shown it does have some noticeable rust pitting. There are some light flea bites on the exterior sides of the pan, mostly towards the handle side.  The cooking surface has a bit deeper flea bites and pits, again mostly towards the handle side. These will season in with use to some extent but will probably always be visible.  The bottom display side is in wonderful condition with no pitting, but you will see a couple minor casting flaws which is common and from the factory. Rust free, professionally restored with electrolysis. Seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
