Absolutely stunning complete 4pc antique French sterling silver coffee & tea set including large coffee pot, tea pot, covered sugar and creamer, all with an elegant Louis XVI style pattern including acanthus & foliage accounting, rocaille, floral finials and interlaced monograms! Beautiful! Just in from France and sure to not last long in our inventory. Thick & heavy old French sterling silver, all in wonderful condition and as visually pleasing as can be. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number 1 within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for sterling silver). The silversmith marks are for Tetard Freres, Paris circa 1903. Fabulous in every respect, don't miss them!
Very good to excellent condition. Being over 100 years old, there are a few surface scuffs but, as you can see, every piece is as near pristine as one could hope for. A tiny dimple or two possible but no larger dents, damage or repairs to note. Total weight for the set is 2095 grams or 67.4 troy ounces!
