Our 250 Smokers are built from hand selected decommissioned propane tanks. The type of finish selected by the customer; will determine the vessel we choose for the build. Every vessel is unique, we strive to select tanks that will provide amazing patina finishes or select newer tanks if a full paint or faux patina is requested.
All our vessel smokers come with a fully insulated firebox. The firebox design consists of a combination of 1/4” walled pipe encased in a fully insulated box design. The outer portion of the firebox is fabricated from 1/4 smooth plate. We use a full roll of 2 inch thick Ceramic Fiber Insulation, 12.5 ft x 24 in, 8 cu ft/lb Insulation Density.
The cook chamber comes standard with a full lower rack and two top racks. Our cooking grates are constructed from ¾” #9 expanded metal and 1” square tubing. We also include two Tel-Tru Thermometer dials. Prior to painting, our cook chambers are fully seasoned. We use this time to check for any abnormal leaks (cooking racks do not come seasoned)
We chose to use a stack and collector system that has proven itself time and time again. The Franklin Style system not only works exceptionally well, it also looks great on any vessel smoker. 250’s come with a 6” diameter stack, 48” in length. Collapsible stack included. Prior to paint, all smokers go through a deep clean and a neutralization process to help preserve/protect the exterior for the selected coating being applied.

Blue Collar Trailers come standard with a tubular frame and hidden wire LED light Pkg. Our trailers are professionally wired with sodder connections and heat shrink. Other items include: safty chains, jack plate and bulldog style coupler.
